It is such a lightweight and compact unit that I can fit it easily and comfortably into my hand. I take it with me everywhere I go now because it is so easy to include in my everyday life.This little camcorder can fit right in my top pocket and it is such a light weight that I don't know it is there half the time.

When it comes to its size, it certainly is very compact. But don't let it fool you into thinking that it can’t back it up with picture quality. When you take footage of skin tones, you can be sure that the images come back crisp and clean and have that true-to-life feel about them.

If you are using this particular camcorder in lower light, you need to make sure that you can add some artificial light to the subject as it can be a little lazy in picking up the definitions of the objects on its own. I don't find this a huge hassle, as my filming is most often in well-lit or daylight situations, but I can see that it might annoy some users.

Another good thing when it comes to the Canon VIXIA HF R200 Full HD Camcorder is that it has a unique snapshot mode. This is my absolute favorite feature of the camcorder, and I use it almost every time that I take footage.

Simply put, it helps you to create some highlights of the images you have filmed. They last around four seconds each, and you can set music to them with the CD that is included with the purchase of the camera. This is truly a cool feature to the camcorder.

Another feature that stood out was the memory card that comes with the camcorder. There are some other models that have an internal memory, which means in order for you to transfer any footage to your PC you have to hook the entire camcorder up to your computer and try to upload it from there.

The Canon VIXIA HF R200 has a memory card, which means that I simply remove the card and place it into the memory card slot on my PC, and I have it all there waiting for me. I prefer this option far more than the internal memory.

This camcorder can handle all those extreme shots and close-ups that you can put to it as it has a whopping 15x optical zoom. And not to be outdone with a superior zoom, there is also a stereo microphone, so everything is picked up clearly, both image wise and sound related, for you to play back for years to come.
